The Tohatsu MFS 75 A is based on the 1,995 cc four-cylinder of the 75–140 hp range: SOHC with four valves per cylinder, roller rockers and electronic injection. It was the first outboard in the industry with a 4-2-1 performance tuned exhaust – for high torque at low revs and fast planing.
The ETL version offers electric start, power trim/tilt and long shaft (517 mm). A 41 A alternator, over 16 sacrificial anodes and freshwater flushing make operation and maintenance easy. Requires a boating licence in Germany.
