The ePropulsion Navy Evo is the high-power class for larger dinghies, aluminium and fishing boats, RIBs and sailing yachts up to around 5 tonnes. Two power levels are available: Navy 3.0 Evo with 3 kW (comparable to about 6 hp petrol) and Navy 6.0 Evo with 6 kW (about 9.9 hp). The brushless direct drive runs quietly, with little vibration and virtually maintenance-free – no oil, no water pump, no exhaust.
The highlight is hydrogeneration: under sail the motor recharges the battery from the water flow. It's operated via the removable, illuminated Evo tiller with real-time display, or optionally by remote steering (top/side mount or dual lever). Maximum power can be limited – handy for rental fleets and beginners.
Important regarding scope of delivery: the price shown is for the motor. The Navy Evo is powered by ePropulsion's modular 48 V LiFePO4 E-Series batteries (E40 to E175) – battery, charger and the control unit (tiller or remote) are configured separately.
