The Tohatsu MFS 25 D is the lightest three-cylinder four-stroke in the 25 hp class: 500 cc, battery-free electronic fuel injection and digital CD ignition at just 58 kg – around 19 percent lighter than its predecessor. The manual-start versions run entirely without a battery, and the 2.17:1 gear ratio with the streamlined gearcase gets boats onto the plane early.
Choose between short and long shaft with tiller and manual start, or the EPTL comfort version with electric start, remote control and power trim/tilt. The 17.5 A alternator is the strongest in its class. A separate 25-litre tank is included. At 25 hp the motor requires a boating licence in Germany.

Nein. Ab 15 PS (11,03 kW) ist in Deutschland der Sportbootführerschein (Binnen bzw. See) erforderlich.
Für Schlauchboote und kleine Boote mit Pinne reicht die Handstart-Version (S oder L). Für Konsolenboote empfiehlt sich die EPTL mit E-Start, Fernschaltung und Powertrimm. Wir beraten dich gern per WhatsApp.
Die Handstart-Versionen laufen dank batterieloser EFI komplett ohne Batterie. Die E-Start-Version benötigt eine 12-V-Starterbatterie.
