The Tohatsu MFS 20 E is the powerful compact motor at the top of the portable class: 20 hp from a 333 cc twin with battery-free EFI – safe starting without a choke, economical and reliable. Despite the power it stays, from 43 kg, one of the lightest in its class.
It shares its engine block with the MFS 15 but delivers more thrust for light sports boats, RIBs and aluminium boats up to about 4–5 m. Full F-N-R shifting, 6-position trim with shallow-water setting and – depending on the version – electric start, remote control and electric power tilt. Supplied as standard with a separate 12-litre tank (expandable to 25 L). At 20 hp the MFS 20 is no longer licence-free – operating it in Germany generally requires the appropriate boating licence.

Nein. Mit 20 PS liegt er über der 15-PS-Grenze (11,03 kW) – für den Betrieb ist in Deutschland in der Regel der passende Sportbootführerschein (See bzw. Binnen) erforderlich. Bitte prüfe die Regeln deines Reviers.
Für kleine Boote mit Pinne reicht die Basis mit Seilzug. Für Konsolenboote empfiehlt sich Elektrostart mit Fernschaltung, für mehr Komfort zusätzlich Power-Tilt. Wir beraten dich gern per WhatsApp.
