The Tohatsu MFS 4 D is the handy 4 hp four-stroke with the large 123 cc block it shares with the MFS 5 and MFS 6. That gives smooth, strong running at low weight – around 26 kg, easy for one person to carry and mount. The integrated 1.5-litre tank makes it ready to go instantly, and via the dual-fuel switch you connect an external 12 or 25 litre tank for longer trips.
Full forward-neutral-reverse shifting with an easy-to-reach front shift lever makes manoeuvring simple, plus 360° swivel, a 6-position trim angle and easy-start with decompression. Choose Short (S) for most boats, Long (L) for higher transoms.
