ePropulsion Spirit 1.0 Plus
Quiet 1 kW electric outboard with an integrated, floating 1,276 Wh lithium battery and a tiller with display – the clean solution for tenders, dinghies and small sailing boats.
About this engine
The ePropulsion Spirit 1.0 Plus is the popular, portable electric outboard for anyone who wants to travel quietly and cleanly, without petrol. Its 1 kW output (comparable to about 3 hp) drives tenders, inflatables, small fishing boats and sailing yachts almost silently – with no exhaust, no oil and no fuel smell.
At its heart sits the fully integrated 1,276 Wh lithium battery: mounted on top of the motor, waterproof and even buoyant – if it goes overboard, it floats and won't be lost. The tiller with colour display shows battery level and remaining range in real time. Charging takes around 8.5 hours with the standard charger, or about 3.5 hours with the fast charger; optionally the battery charges via solar at up to 180 W.
At around 20 kg (motor plus battery) you can carry and mount it on your own, and maintenance is minimal – no oil changes, no spark plugs. The lithium battery ships as dangerous goods in line with regulations. Choose the right shaft length for your transom: Extra Short and Short (S) for most tenders, Long (L) for higher transoms and sailing boats.

FAQ
How far can I go on one charge?
At a calm cruising speed (around 7 km/h) several hours – up to roughly 35 km depending on boat and load – are possible, and a full day at trolling speed. At full power, correspondingly less. The display shows your remaining range in real time. Figures are from manufacturer tests with a 12-foot aluminium boat.
Does the battery really float?
Yes. The integrated 1,276 Wh battery is waterproof and positively buoyant – if it falls overboard it stays on the surface and won't be lost.
How much maintenance is involved?
Very little. There are no oil changes and no spark plugs. Rinse the drive with fresh water after saltwater use and charge the battery correctly – that's all that's needed in normal operation.
Do I get a warranty?
Yes, the ePropulsion manufacturer warranty applies under the current terms. This is official new goods.
