The ePropulsion kLite 750 is an electric outboard designed specifically for kayaks – not a classic transom motor but a rudder-shaped unit with an integrated 378 Wh battery and comfortable foot steering. That keeps both hands free for fishing, and the rudder-shaped body steers even when you're off the throttle.
500 W of continuous power (750 W in Boost) moves you quietly and emission-free across shallow waters, tidal creeks and backwaters – thanks to shallow-water operation from around 18 cm depth. Three modes on one throttle cover everything: Go (500 W) for cruising, Fish (0–200 W) for precise slow-speed control and Boost (750 W) for a short burst. The spring-tensioned Soft-Lock reverse (up to 300 W) manoeuvres cleanly and quietly, and a rubber collision guard on the leading edge shrugs off contact with rocks or logs.
At just 6.5 kg (plus a 2.3 kg mount) it's easy to carry to a remote launch point. The integrated battery charges in about 4 hours. Er ist speziell für Angel- und Freizeitkajaks mit Standard-4-Loch-Montagemuster gebaut, Zubehör passt auf gängige Kajak-Schienen. Für einen klassischen Bootsspiegel ist er nicht gedacht – dafür sind eLite oder Spirit die richtige Wahl.
Auf dem integrierten 378-Wh-Akku sind je nach Tempo bis zu rund 64 km bei sehr langsamer Fahrt (ca. 3 km/h) oder ~18 km bei ca. 6 km/h möglich; im Fish-Modus über 11 Meilen. Mit optionalem Zusatzakku deutlich mehr. Werte aus Herstellertests auf spezifischen Kajaks.
Ja, für Süß- und Salzwasser. Nach Salzwasser-Einsatz mit Süßwasser spülen und trocknen lassen. Propeller und Scherstift regelmäßig prüfen, besonders nach flachen oder steinigen Passagen.
