The ePropulsion X-Series is the new high-performance class for larger recreational and light commercial boats – RIBs, runabouts, center-console boats and pontoons. Three models cover the range from 12 kW (X12) through 20 kW (X20) to 40 kW (X40) – positioned by the manufacturer/trade as a replacement for roughly 24 to 60 hp petrol (the hp figure is a market comparison, not an official manufacturer specification).
What sets it apart is the eSSA concept (ePropulsion Smart System Architecture): motor, high-voltage G-Series LiFePO4 battery, Smart Throttle and Smart Display are pre-integrated and work as one plug-and-play system – far faster to install than a classic combination of motor, controls and wiring. Integrated electric steering (±45°) and power trim/tilt (−4° to 61°) make additional hydraulics unnecessary. Up to 88.2% efficiency (X40), hydrogeneration under way and IoT connectivity round off the package.
Important regarding scope of delivery: the price shown is for the motor. The matching high-voltage G-Series battery (96 V), charger and smart controls are configured separately.
